Isabel's Medical Bills

Isabel's appointment at the vet is scheduled for September 22. There are so many things that could potentially causing her symptoms, so this is primarily to get a diagnosis and to relieve her congestion. They'll be doing cultures, exploring for polyps and flushing out her sinuses so that breathing doesn't take so much effort!

In the meantime, she has taken control of the house. The other cats are a little afraid of her snorting noises, so they keep their distance and she goes wherever she wants and demands attention at all times. That's our girl!

Firstly, Isabel sends her most sincere purrs to everyone. She and her foster mom are simply overwhelmed by your generosity. Can't say she's looking forward to her trip to the vet, but we hope she feels much better afterward. Right now she's on a series of medications that she hates with a flaming passion. She holds a special contempt for her ear drops. BUT they seem to be making a dent and her ear is starting to clear up a little.

She is an absolutely love - adores being petted and alternates purring and snorting (poor baby!). We'll keep you posted as we get closer to her vet appointment.

Izzy came to us barely able to breathe. She was someone's pet and then she found herself on the streets. This poor girl has been so sick for so long, she has permanent damage to the delicate bones in her sinuses. She now needs to get some relief from the raging infections in her ears and respiratory tract. So we're raising money. Because after all she's been through, Isabel deserves a chance to breathe.
